Several members of various Looking Glass staff programs welcomed dozens of interested job applicants on Thursday, June 7th in the conference room at the Admin building. With a number of position openings, the various programs hoped to draw new applicants as well as engage the community in conversations about career opportunities.

Thank a Youth Worker Day: Perry Washington from Station 7
For this year's Thank a Youth Worker Day (May 10th), we would like to recognize the great work that Perry Washington has done for youth in Lane County at Station 7. As Services Manager, Perry is a leader on the team and is responsible for helping with initial youth intake and orientation as well as helping them to return to stable housing after their stay at Station 7.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is fast approaching - on Saturday, May 19th at Valley River Inn we will welcome Looking Glass supporters to join us in a night of revelry that will include live jazz, casino games with prizes, a fun photo booth, jewelry raffles as well as a live and silent auction. Looking Glass Supports Eugene Blacks in Government
On Friday February 9th, Looking Glass CEO Craig Opperman and staff, along with Lawanda and James Manning, had the privilege of attending our local chapter of Blacks in Government's annual banquet. With much of Lane County leadership in attendance, guests heard from Eugene mayor Lucy Vinis, keynote speaker Judge Adrienne Nelson, and DA John M. Haroldson.
Cottage Grove High School presents MLK Award to Looking Glass
Members of the Cottage Grove High School student council chose Looking Glass as this year's MLK award recipient and presented a plaque to rural program staff members Sammy Elsdon and Amanda Hampton on Monday, February 5th at their Unity Week assembly.
