Looking Forward, Giving Back Event Exceeded All Expectations

Here are a handful of great photos taken at our Roaring 20's themed dinner/auction gala at Valley River Inn on Saturday, May 19, 2018. See all photos from the event on Facebook.

We partied like it was 1929 - and raised a ton of money for our programs to help Lane County at-risk youth and families build a brighter future. Thank you to all involved in helping make this event a huge success. From event sponsors to event committee members, attendees, volunteers, staff and vendors - this one really took a village and the result was nothing short of spectacular.

In the end, we raised just under $150,000 and had a ton of fun doing it. Most importantly, the event retained focus on the reasons we were all gathered there to begin with - our clients. We debuted our new agency video and some of our clients featured in the video were there in attendance at the event. That included Nick "the trainer dude" Hammond, who was our guest speaker and knocked everyone's socks off with his heartfelt and personal story of overcoming adversity with the help of Looking Glass services.

Nick Hammond recounts his experiences as a Looking Glass first as a client, years ago, and then as an employee and now a strong supporter and advocate.

A special thanks to all of our event sponsors and auction donors! And a very special thank you to our event committee including our chairperson Jeanne Staton and an amazing team of incredibly unselfish supporters: Christina Lund, Sandee Gerber, Dian LaCoste, Jessica Cristobal, Judy Betts, Beth Sheehan and Kimberly Williams.
