Auction Event Recap - A Vegas Night Out We Will All Remember

The 2019 “Looking Forward, Giving Back” auction fundraiser for Looking Glass was a huge success - everyone walked away from this table a winner. The Vegas Nights themed event was well received by 250+ attendees and the funds generated by this extremely benevolent crowd of supporters will help our youth clients and programs greatly.

Looking Glass is extremely thankful to all attendees, sponsors, volunteers and staff as well our evening’s venue host, Venue 252, who took great care of our supporters. Attendees were treated to amazing entertainment by local acrobats Reveler’s Aerial Works as well as Dave “Elvis” Lomond. The wedding chapel photo booth was also a big hit and the casino tables were packed throughout the night.

A highlight of the evening, among many, was a special surprise award presentation, the first ever Looking Glass “Guiding Light” award was presented to longtime board member and supporter Jeanne Staton. The award was presented to Jeanne by Looking Glass CEO Craig Opperman.

Longtime Looking Glass supporter Jeanne Staton was honored at the auction event with the first ever Looking Glass “Guiding Light” award, presented to Jeanne for her years of service and support (auctioneer Larry Snyder smiles in the background).
