This year, we partnered with Washington Federal Bank for Giving Tuesday. They offered Looking Glass $1,000 in a matching donation towards our $2,000 goal. Thanks to several generous community members, we far surpassed that goal and raised over $4,000!
These funds will go towards the New Roads drop-in center. Youth in need can go there to access basic needs like meals, showers, and clothes. They can also get help with finding housing, finishing school, accessing behavioral health services, and finding employment. Unfortunately, it’s been over ten years since the facility last had any major work done on it, and it’s starting show. Thanks to your support, we will be able to give it the TLC it deserves, and make it into a more welcoming and comfortable space for homeless and runaway youth.
