Three times a week members of the Looking Glass staff go to the Starbucks next to the Valley River Center to pick up food donations. Through Food Donation Connection, we were paired with the Valley River location to take their leftover pastries, sandwiches, salads, and bagels. The food is taken to New Roads Center and Pathways Girls Program.

At New Roads, the food is added to the supply of food we provide youth who use our center, providing take away food and supplements to the breakfast and lunch we provide Monday through Friday. At Pathways Girls, the food is given to our clients who are going home for the weekend to make sure they are well fed while in their guardians care.

Thank you to Starbucks for your commitment to prevent food waste and continued support of youth in Lane County!
