Thank you to all those who attended this year's Looking Glass auction gala fundraiser event! This year’s event had an old Hollywood Oscars theme and raised a RECORD-SETTING amount of donations for Looking Glass at-risk youth programs. With red carpets, movie-themed decor and a live jazz club band, supporters felt like members of the Hollywood elite - as they should for supporting our organization with such generosity!

Among the more than 366 event attendees this year (also a record) we had board members, staff members, longtime supporters and many elected officials including County Commissioner Pat Farr, Bethel School Board Member Debi Farr, Senator James Manning, State Representative Nancy Nathanson, Eugene City Counselor Matt Keating, Lane ESD Board Member Linda Hamilton and LCC Board Member Austin Folnagy.

Amanda and Alex Haugland show off their Oscar award - they received the 2026 Craig Opperman Community Leadership award at the April 11 Looking Glass auction gala event.
It was such an honor to present the Craig Opperman Community Leadership Award this year to our amazing supporters Alex & Amanda Haugland, who shared some touching words as well.
A success story video was shared at this year’s event from a former client, Bryson, who had experience at multiple Looking Glass programs.
This year’s band was the Bylines, out of Portland, and our auctioneer was once again, the amazing Eric Johnson.
